The main challenge was translating a high-end dining experience into a digital product that could evoke taste, atmosphere, and identity without physical presence. The brand required a strong visual language that could stand out in a highly competitive hospitality space while still maintaining clarity for key actions like reservations and menu navigation. I had to balance artistic expression with usability, ensuring that the interface felt immersive and bold without compromising performance or readability. Another critical challenge was organizing diverse content such as menus, events, private dining, and brand storytelling into a cohesive and intuitive structure.
I approached the project by structuring the experience around discovery and conversion. The navigation was designed to quickly guide users toward reservations while still encouraging exploration of the brand. I mapped user flows that prioritized key actions such as viewing the menu, exploring dishes, and booking a table, while layering storytelling elements throughout the journey. Content was segmented into clear thematic sections, allowing users to move fluidly between functional information and immersive visuals. The overall architecture was built to support both quick decision-making and deeper engagement with the brand narrative.

I designed the full website and developed it in WordPress, ensuring complete alignment between visual direction and final implementation. The interface is driven by strong visual contrasts, combining deep dark backgrounds with bold red accents to create a distinctive and memorable identity. Typography was used expressively, with large editorial headlines reinforcing the brand’s personality. I worked extensively with high-impact food imagery, using composition and scale to create a sensory-driven experience. Layouts were intentionally dynamic, mixing structured grids with more expressive sections to avoid repetition. The system was built responsively, maintaining visual intensity and clarity across all screen sizes.

The website helped strengthen the restaurant’s digital presence, making the experience more aligned with the atmosphere and identity of the brand.
The new structure made it easier for users to explore the menu, understand the concept, and move toward reservations without friction.
The result was a more cohesive and engaging experience that better reflects the personality and quality of WOVEN.
