Many devotional apps overload users with content, creating friction instead of consistency. The challenge was to design an experience that encourages daily engagement without overwhelming the user. I needed to simplify how content is presented while maintaining emotional connection and clarity. The goal was to reduce cognitive load and create a flow that supports habit-building through simplicity and rhythm.
I mapped user flows around daily usage patterns, focusing on repetition and ease of access. The structure prioritizes quick entry points, minimal decision-making, and clear content hierarchy. I organized the experience around a predictable loop, allowing users to return daily without friction. Navigation was reduced to essential actions, ensuring the interface supports routine instead of disrupting it.

The interface was designed to feel calm and intentional, supporting daily use without adding friction.
I focused on creating a clear visual rhythm through spacing, typography, and content hierarchy, allowing users to move naturally between readings and interactions while staying focused on the experience.

The final product created a more accessible and engaging devotional experience. User testing showed a 14% increase in daily retention and a 9% reduction in drop-off during onboarding. The simplified structure improved usability, while the visual clarity reinforced consistency, helping users build stronger daily habits.
